The plug-in card, combined with Microbus' NT® extensions, supports controlled headless NT® shutdown for MAT 915 and MAT 988 single board computers.

The board set can be mounted stand alone or in a passive backplane, and is also ideal for split backplanes.

Simple shutdown and reset buttons are supported with indicator LEDs which reflect the system shutdown status. By carrying the IDE disk and serial connectors, the complete system can be installed as a single unit.

The two internal serial channels from the MAT 915/988 are carried to the board's metal bracket. The board also supports self-diagnostic hexadecimal LEDs which indicate a go/no go status for the system.
